The Swindon’s

We have officially booked and paid for our family holiday in Decmber 2005. We going on a Boat trip to Mauritius aboard the Rhapsody. We are leaving on the 28th with a Flight to Durban, there we will be met by my parents whom will take us to the port where we depart.

The trip will pass through both Melissa’s Birthday (30 december 2005) and Richard’s Birthday (7th January 2006)

The time we spend on the boat is 10 Days and we will be on the boat or in Mauritius for New year. This I am sure is going to be a great holiday! We are **REALLY** looking forward to it, and hell I need it!

We went off this morning to watch movies, Karin and Melissa went to see Chicken Little and Jason and I went to see Flight Plan.

I was pleasantly surprised with the movie and enjoyed it. It had a different but really interesting story line. I’d love to tell you about it but that will defeat the object for those whom have not see it.
I would definitely recommend it. Rated as an action drama.

Chicken Little, was reported to be a nice movie typical for children … there was a bit of action … a little too overboard for the 5 year range but it was animated so i surpose that helps … drawn a little from War of the Worlds Story line in the movie … but I say nothing more not to spoil it for others.

The official opening of Barcode a fantastic pub in Gordons Bay owned by my brother Johnathon, was a great success. For those whom go there know what I am talking about and those who have not been there…. well **Tough** if you prefer to miss out.

The pub has gone through a whole new face lift and attract a far more mature crowed. Making a safe “water-hole” for all their clients. Their business hours are 11:00am to 2:00am the next morning, this is when they serve drinks.

The drink which I find interesing is there French Martini’s – Pravda … You go to try it.

Last night Karin and I went to Electra soon to be Barcode, a new pub which was bought by Johnathon my brother.

They had a Hallaween party and my word was it great. Folks dressed up in all sorted of costumes and the most facinating of them was Johnathons costume. The “reaper” style of dress.

Tonight we going to the offical opening of the new pub now named Barcode.

Jason had his birthday today and has received lots and lots of presents … (Ok not that many)
Gee the bugger is getting old.

We all love him lots and lots.

We lefy on Friday to Club Mykonos and had a great time. (9 September 2005) We got back Sunday evening.

High lights were : Boat Trip on Tropico and Go-cart Racing.

On the Tropico we saw 2 whales which was good for the foreigners to see. We have better whales sighting in Hermanus.

Richard, Jason and I raced and Richard was insane with his driving! .. He won the race. What a rush!

Next time we go we going to do paint balling!

I discovered a cool trick with MSSQL where you can use linked server to join databases across various platforms. Specfically Excel, and Access. Then you can use normal MSSQL query to get to the information.

Very cool.

The objective is for me to write something in here from time of which may be of interest to me and feel it may also be of interest to others.

It may be personal or in line with what I do. (Software)
